The Executive Committee voted to approve Tom Veit as the new President-Elect and Allison McDonald as the new Secretary. Please welcome me in congratulating Tom and Allison to their new roles. We still have an open position for the Immediate Past President and one open position on the Board of Directors.
The ASB "decided to extend the effective date of the current USPAP by one year. This will provide continuity to the profession during this pandemic while also giving the ASB the appropriate time to carefully examine the challenges facing our profession before offering additional guidance.”

It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of Charles Bramlett from Georgia. Charles passed away on December 27, 2020. Charles served over 14 years on the Georgia Appraiser Board.

It is with a heavy heart that we notify you of the resignation of Brent Jayes, thereby MeetingsonCue, as the managing director of the Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials (AARO) effective July 31, 2020. The AARO Board of Directors held a meeting on Wednesday, July 22 at 10:00 am central time and voted to transition the 2020 Fall Conference from an in-person conference to a virtual meeting due to safety and travel concerns stemming from the Coronovirus. The conference was scheduled to be held at the Westin Washington DC City Center from October 16-19, 2020.
